I am a simple person with a simple passion - nude photography.

I shoot nudes because I think I am good at it and I find it both fun and immensely challenging at the same time. I am a long way from mastering it but I am learning all the time. It is one of the most difficult photographic art forms to do well - the lighting, the curves and the composition are all uniquely challenging. I love the idea of preserving a unique and beautiful moment in time that both model and photographer can be proud of.

I spent the best part of two decades roaming the globe in various roles living or working in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North America, Australia. Currently make my bed in the vibrant harbour city of Auckland, New Zealand after over 10 years living in the foothills of the spectacular Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado. I am an an avid runner, armchair ocean yacht-racer, sports junkie, and father of three spirited kids.

While I did not major in photography, I do have some formal training and qualifications. It is an important hobby of mine and I hope to keep expanding my portfolio. I love working with all kinds of models on all kinds of shoots. I am professional, punctual and always prepared. I am told I am a great communicator, and make all shoots a fun and relaxed environment. I am a sucker for assignments where I have the opportunity to make people feel beautiful.

I have experience in many genres of photography but concentrate on nudes, because that's what I enjoy and I am best at, but also perform non nude shoots. I am professional, respectful and collaborative.

I also edit my own photos. I prefer a more natural look of the model and therefore generally manipulate only the colors and lighting post-process. Very experienced in Website development, including design, construction and photographic content services. Model websites, both pay and promotional, are a specialty.

You don't need to be experienced to work with me. I have enough experience for the both of us. I can guide, direct & pose you so you'll be able to relax, have fun, and enjoy the shoot.
