I'm Ben Hinman, i'm a fashion and glamour photographer looking to cross over into the artistic nude genre. I've had experience shooting in studio with professional lighting equipment and outside with natural light, i do artistic retouching, digital painting, as well as basic skin fixes and cleanup.
I'd like to be straight from the getgo as i believe honesty about your intentions is important in this industry. I'm not looking to do any kind of pornographic work. Thats not to say i won't create something with a certain amount of eroticism or sexuality, but i oppose the very essence of what makes something "pornographic".
The human body is a beautiful work of art, the intimate moments between people can be art, and even the act of sex is an art in of itself. But the mainstream pornographic industry has butchered a beautiful thing and polluted it with cliches about pizza boys, big asses and who can be the biggest slut! Its no longer an expression of self but a cookie cutter image of so called "perfection" that drives women to act like two bit whores rather than the magnificent creatures they really are. I refuse to do "spread work" or any kind of demeaning material in which the aim is to maximize exposure and minimize expression. I welcome any model who can capture her vulnerability on camera and knows the value of an inch of skin... Learn to tease with just an ankle and you'll make eyes melt when you're all but bare.
